In addition, from time to time, our firm organizes meetings to which clients are invited, addressing a topical issue that is presented by our own attorneys or eminent figures such as a law professors, senior judges, overseas lawyers, or company managers.

In 2008, JOBARD, CHEMLA & ASSOCIÉS was ranked 141st out of 150 business law firms in France by the annual survey of Decision-Makers: Strategy, Finance, and Law Magazine (Décideurs: Stratégie, Finance, et Droit).  This publication ranks the top 150 most productive Business law firms in France.   The magazine additionally ranked Jobard, Chemla & Associés 123rd among law firms in terms of revenue produced by partners.

The labor law team, under the direction of Marie-Laure Labat-Oliveau, coordinated the editing of a practical guide of clear and quick information on labor law in 76 countries, with the participation of the law firms of the MULTILAW network.  The document is entitled: “How to Hire and Fire in 76 Jurisdictions” (Edited by Eric Van Emden, John Heuvel, and Marie-Laure Labat-Oliveau, Multilaw, Klewer Law International, 2005).
